My name is Carla Gokey and I am a Sales and Marketing Representative for North Mill. I grew up in Astoria, Queens, NY and graduated from Queens College with a Bachelors in Liberal Arts. I have a curious mind and I enjoy learning, reading and I am a huge baseball fan – Go Yankees! I have two beautiful children that are the reason I stumbled into a career in customer service. I began my career in banking as a Teller for Hudson Valley Bank which allowed me to hone my skills in service and still allowed me the time to be home with my children. I quickly realized that helping others was task I enjoyed and I did it well. As my career progressed, I left Hudson Valley Bank and went to work for Wells Fargo formally known as Wachovia and I was there for 10 years and wore many hats; Service Banker, Customer Sales & Service Representative and Service Manager. I decided to end my career in banking but continued to focus on perfecting my skills which led me to North Mill Equipment Finance. From the minute I stepped off the elevator and was led down the hall to where the office area is, I knew this was the place I wanted to work for and I’m super happy I am. In the short time that I have been with North Mill, I have learned a lot, I have been able to apply my skills and be part of the success of a growing company and knowing that I played a small part in their success.
Matthew Mosely joined North Mill in 2020 as a Relationship Manager supporting the company’s large pool of referral agent partners. Matt brings more than twenty years of business development and customer relations experience to the company. His first stop in the leasing industry was as a sales executive with Premier Funding Group in 1998. In 2004, he joined Financial Pacific Leasing as a Broker Relationship Manager for 12 years before moving over to Centra Funding in a similar role. Matt earned his BBA in Accounting from the University of North Georgia. A proud 12-year member of the Georgia Army National Guard, he served a one-year active duty rotation in Bosnia. A lifelong Georgia resident, Matt earned his CLFP designation in 2007 and resides in the state with his wife and two children.
Bob Fanelle joined North Mill in 2020 as a Relationship Manager supporting the company’s many referral agent partners. He brings two decades of leasing experience to the table, having worked for some of the most prominent lenders in the business including Marlin Capital Solutions, his employer before North Mill. Through the years, Bob has formed a vast number of deep-seated business relationships in the industry, becoming personal friends with many. Outside of work he enjoys traveling to warm climates and, as a huge sports fan, holds season tickets to the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He earned a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware and currently resides in New Jersey.
My name is Joe Borges and I’m an account manager at North Mill Equipment Finance. I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2019. I worked throughout my four years of college as a collections representative for Comcast. It was an excellent opportunity because it allowed me to experience a working environment while I was still a student and hone my skills as a service representative. My career at North Mill launched when I joined the company as an intern in the sales and marketing department during my senior year at WCSU. Right after I graduated, I was offered a full-time position as a North Mill account manager. My goal is to experience all that North Mill has to offer so I can further my career at the company. Outside of work I enjoy spending time at the gym and am an avid sports fan.
My name is Erica and I am a Sales and Marketing representative here at North Mill. I graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing from San Diego Mesa College. Prior to working at North Mill I worked as a Visual Merchandiser for Hudson Bay Company. Creativity holds a special place in my heart so being a part of this marketing team has offered me a different type of outlet for that side of me. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, photography, hiking and attending concerts.
Kimberly Merryfield has been in the equipment leasing industry for six years. Prior to joining North Mill in 2020 as an account executive supporting the company’s many referral agent partners, she was a member of Marlin Capital Solutions’ account analyst for their Broker division. Before she was in the leasing business, Kimberly held various positions in real estate, banking, and personal care. She is known for providing superior service to her customers and is often requested to handle transactions by North Mill’s equipment finance brokers. She resides with her son in New Jersey.
My name is Sue Tartaglia. I joined North Mill in 2015 as an administrative assistant for the asset management team. Within a year, I became an asset manager where I evaluated, sold, and managed the company’s equipment inventory. My career at the company continues to grow. I moved over to the sales and marketing team last year where I am now an account manager assisting the many referral agents with whom we work. My role keeps me quite busy as I’m involved in everything from helping our brokers fund deals, to onboarding new referral agents, to managing our presence at industry conferences. Outside of work I enjoy creating & crafting, landscaping & gardening and spending time with my family.
James Weyand joined North Mill in 2021 as a Sales and Marketing Representative. With a background in the heavy equipment sales industry for 5 years and 2 years’ experience in equipment finance sales. Prior to coming to North Mill James worked for Marlin. James enjoys fishing on his weekends and playing his guitar. He currently resides with his family in New Jersey.
